The Beauty and The Ugliness.

How we sometimes confuse the two.

One day, Beauty and Ugliness met on a beach.“Let’s swim in the sea together,” they decided. So they took off their robes and went for a swim.

When the Beauty was careless for a moment, the Ugliness sneaked away unnoticed. Once on the shore, she secretly put on the Beauty’s robe and disappeared.

As the Beauty arrived on the shore and realized this, she had no choice but to put on the garment of the Ugliness, as she was too shy to remain undressed.

From that day on, people confused the two.

However, there are people who see the face of the Beauty and ignore its garment. And, there are people who recognize the Ugliness and aren’t deceived by their garments.

We often allow ourselves to be deceived and influenced by outward appearances, people, events or situations. We then fail to recognize people’s true intentions or the actual opportunities that events or situations offer us…

…but we have a choice!
