Among cosmetic surgeons there is a phenomenon known as internal scarring . This definition was created by Maxwell Malz, who worked as a cosmetic surgeon in the USA in the 1970s.
He had noticed that the majority of his patients also exhibited changes in their personality following their visual changes. The reason for this was quickly found: the patients’ increased self-esteem as a result of their visual enhancement led to a series of mental changes.
The interesting thing, however, was that this effect did not occur in some patients. Malz investigated the phenomenon and realized that these were patients who already had a very poor self-image, a negative self-perception, before the operation. This was not changed by the external alterations.
This gave rise to the concept of inner scarring, as Malz came to the realization that these patients were convinced in their deepest subconscious that they were not good enough, or not attractive enough.
Our beliefs are located in our deepest subconscious. They are firmly anchored there, probably for decades depending on the individual case. As a result, there are many and widely ramified neuronal connections to these beliefs in our brain. In practical terms, this means that a certain way of thinking is firmly anchored in us.
In other words: Imagine you are going fishing. You take your boat out to sea and head north. At some point, you realize that you are not catching any fish and decide to change course. So you turn the steering wheel a little to steer the boat to the west.
However, the moment you let go of the wheel, the boat turns north again on its own. So you try again and turn the boat back to the west. However, the effect is repeated and the boat steers north again as if by magic. So you try again and again, in the end using force, but this does not change anything.
The reason for this is that your boat has an automatic navigation system, a steering system. You programmed this for north a long time ago and then forgot about it.
However, this setting is still active today.
This creates this effect: every time you change course, the control system intervenes and adjusts the course according to the old command.
It is the same with your beliefs. You programmed them a long time ago and then forgot them. However, these beliefs have become the commands for your control system: your unconscious thinking and your perception. If you don’t change your beliefs, the effect is the same as with the boat.
Therefore, there is no point in attending a positive thinking seminar, setting goals, visualizing, trying to do it with sheer willpower or even force. You will always (automatically) return to your old, previously programmed course.
This is also one of the reasons why the majority of lottery millionaires are broke again after an average of 4 years. They previously held beliefs that expressed that they were poor (scarcity thinking) and therefore their course had to be corrected.
The same applies to people who lose a lot of weight only to put on more. Or those who fall into the same destructive relationships over and over again.
Etc.
“You can’t feel beautiful and radiate this authentically if you are scarred inside!”
There are countless examples of these clearly recognizable patterns. However, there is usually only one cause: your beliefs.
Only changing your beliefs will lead to a visible, measurable, comprehensible and real change. Anything else will not last, even if it is hard to believe!
If you want to take a new course, you must first reprogram your control system. Otherwise you will end up going in the same direction again and again…
Whether you like it or not!
Through the Fearless Code you will learn how to reprogram your beliefs, step by step, and in a way that is immediately actionable. Then you can steer your boat to where there are lots of fish to catch!
